Weston’s Grave Marker

A word about his grave marker: the granite we ordered is not in yet, so this is a temporary piece of granite that will be replaced in January with a larger piece that will include a bronze vase for flowers. Erin and I decorated a wreath to place on it, and placed this Christmas star at the head of the grave – which represents that Jesus is the light of the world. He is the reason for this Christmas season.

  2. Looks like Weston is in a nice place. I know Friday is going to be a tough day for you two. Remember what I said: Do what you have to do when you have to do it. If you need to vent I’m here. You two will be in my prayers for a while yet. Love you both.

  3. That’s such a beautiful place… Sadly, I never had the honor of meeting Weston, but what I’ve heard and read about him makes me feel as if I had. I’m sure he loves the place you picked for him, and although it brings tears to my eyes to see his name on it, his grave marker is beautiful.

My heart breaks every time I read your blog, and I can honestly say I feel your pain. Just know that you and Erin will not only be in my prayers, but also those of my entire family and everyone at our church.

    I miss you guys.
