Though my new Direct TV System hates this show (each time it records it finds a way to delete part of the show), I still enjoy the irreverent remarks of Michael Scott and all of those hard works at Dunder Mifflin. The show has changed very little since the beginning, which I think is a good thing. I look forward to seeing where the story will lead this season. And as for the people at Direct TV – shame on you for your evil ways!!!!

This continues to be my favorite 30 minute comedy show. (Notice I didn’t call it a sit-com? I don’t think it quite fits that mold.) I’m also a big My Name is Earl fan. I love that white-trash humor.
I have to say that I think the first half of this third season of The Office hasn’t been up to par with previous seasons. I chalk this up to Jim having relocated to the other branch. The best comedy came from Jim messing with Dwight. Now that Jim is moving back, I fully expect it to get really good again.
There are going to be new sources of conflict the writers must deal with. Jan has promoted Jim to “the number two spot.” Dwight isn’t going to like that one bit. Jim is also bringing along the female co-worker that will no doubt compete with Pam for his affections.
My Tivo has failed to record two episodes so far this season, which REALLY irritates me. I broke down and downloaded this week’s episode from iTunes, costing me $2.00. Dang.
We only recently switched from Dish Network to Direct TV. We find the Direct TV DVR much more difficult to use and it often records only the first few seconds of a show or none at all. It really gripes my butt!
