I recently have found two small holes in my convertible top, both of which have grown significantly in the past few weeks. I addition, the rear window stitching is coming apart. This is normal wear-and-tear for a convertible I hear, but is a great source of frustration none-the-less. Today I got a quote to replace the top in the amount of $1295.00. The car is in great shape other than the top issues, so we will probably have it repaired some time early next year. The car is simply way too much fun to get rid of – and we have only had it a short time. There is nothing like leaving work each day and putting the top down for the 15 minute drive home. It helps me forget all the stresses of the day and enjoy the Florida weather. Though $1295 is a lot, it’s worth the expense.
