I was told today that one was considered “cool” if they had the new Pokemon game. When a corporation can make teenagers believe that they are considered cool for buying their product, that corporation has just landed themselves millions, perhaps billions of $. The truth is that Pokemon games don’t make someone cool. It is one’s own personality, character, and integrity that defines them. And each of these are free.
Teenagers pretend to be grown-ups, yet still clamor to play kid-games. This is absolutely ok - I am a firm believer that “kids should be kids” as long as possible.

I am going to take a wild guess on who tried to convince this to you…
That is the marketing strategy of most companies these days, try to be “cool”, and the land of milk and honey will surely follow. Sharper Image wouldn’t sell a thing if the things they sold weren’t “top of the line”. It is smart, and effective, I’m sure you knew that already though.
Seems like the immature people are starting to find your blog, huh Mr. G?
(I noticed you deleted a couple comments, haha)
Rog - Every now and again, spam postings creep into my site. Luckily, I can make them as spam and eliminate them, but it does take me a while to catch them sometimes.
