The Theatre Experience

This week and last I have been directing a Kids Theatre Camp in Celebration, Florida called, “The Theatre Experience.” This is the 3rd year we’ve offered this camp to 5-10 year old aspiring thespians. Actually, they are mostly just kids that want to have fun - which is really what’s its all about! This year we are producing Cinderella the Musical. I have been able to hire a few of my former students from Gateway High School to help out, which has made this year much easier. This will be my last job before starting at OU in August. I am looking forward to a busy, yet needed break.

I just noticed, Jakob is wearing the same costume Tartaglia did. It’s quite funny.

I know what you mean. I just finished teaching a 2 week drama camp at Osceola Center for the Arts. The kids wrote, designed, and acted out their own skits. It’s amazing how much fun they have and how dedicated they are even at a young age.
