I heard a song tonight when I was browsing in an art store in Orlando. I loved the momentum of the tune and asked the sales clerk the name of the song. She told me the group was Bitter:Sweet and the song was ” The Mating Game.” The lyrics are a bit out there, but the tune is quite groovy and a bit funky. I came home and downloaded the tune. People ask me what kind of music I like. It’s hard to pinpoint a certain style, but mostly I like anything peppy.
Side note: As I looked at the art, moving through the room, the song made me feel like I was in a Bond movie on a secret mission.

I think this group is lumped in with the Adult Alternative genre although I’m not sure that’s where they fit. For some reason, this song strikes me as being perfect for an Austin Powers soundtrack.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing – I think that’s partly why I like the tune – it’s got that 60’s, Austin Powers sound.
Heard it, loved it. It is iPod worthy.
