Candy Corn

candy-corn-1.jpg

Let me be completely candid: I love candy corn. I do NOT like Brach’s brand candy corn. I am very particular about the candy corn I eat, and it must be a little bit old, making it kind-of hard. Soft candy corn is not good. Brach’s makes it soft. Usually, no-name brands make the kind I like. If it’s been sitting on the store shelf all summer awaiting the fall – I will probably like it. I also like little “candy corn” pumpkins. Again, preferably with an expired shelf life date. Why you ask? I’m not sure. Perhaps it has something to do with my childhood. At any rate, it is difficult to find anything other than fresh candy corn around this time of year.

  1. I eat whole barrels at a time. Can’t enough candy corn.

  2. Heh, you’re too funny. But I agree. People who don’t like candy corn don’t know what they’re missing out on. You should just buy some to keep in your pantry ’til it gets hard so you have your own stock of it.

  3. I noticed one of the students that rode with me to WIlderness left a 1/2 eaten bag of cheap candy corn in my Jeep. Would you like for me to save it for you (open of course, so it can dry out) until I come out to visit?

  4. i just like the little pupkins :)
