My Spring directing project was approved last week. I will be directing the 2007 Pulitzer prize winning drama, “Rabbit Hole.” It is a small cast of 5, 2 men, 3 women. It is the dramatic journey of a couple who lose a child tragically in an accident. The play takes place 8 months after the child’s death and we see the family struggle with their pain. I am looking forward to directing the show, and have several ideas formulating. The downside to this show is that EVERYONE and their DOG is currently producing the show. Well, that’s a bit over-dramatic of me to say it that way, but it does seem that is quite a popular show right now. It is a powerful drama and will make for a great night of theatre. Auditions are in November.

Darn…I would have loved to do a play like this, to challenge my acting ability. This is one thing I have yet to do is a tragic/dramatic play.
I agree with Rog Pog 100%.
Congrats!
