My wife, a professional flutist, has been working on re-establishing herself now that we have moved to another State. In Florida, she played with the Space Coast Flute Orchestra. In Oklahoma she is playing flute and piccolo with the OU Civic Orchestra and the Oklahoma Flute Society based in Oklahoma City. She has been playing flute since she was 11 years old. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance several years ago. She has played for many, many concerts, musicals, and operas. Why am I mentioning all of this? Because it’s my blog and I can brag on my wife if I want. I think she’s awesome. Somebody needs to write “explosives!” on her – ’cause she’s da BOMB!
