Daily Routine

Weston loved bath time. It wasn’t long ago that we used to give him baths in the sink. He outgrew the sink and moved on to the tub. He loved his bath, and often was the most happy in the tub. He loved to play with all of his water toys [...]

Unexplainable.

Above:  Weston trying on Daddy’s shoes.
We miss our boy. If you could have been a “fly on the wall” in our house on just a normal day, you have seen how much fun we had with our boy. (Actually if you were a fly on the wall you would have been attacked [...]

Haircuts

Weston had about 5 haircuts in his lifetime. My mom always cut is hair, and he would always get excited about it. He would say, “Nanny, haircut!” One morning Weston woke up with bed-head hair, and I said to him, “Weston your hair looks crazy!” He immediately said to me, “Nanny, [...]

1-2-3 Weeeeeeeee!

It’s very hard to imagine that a week ago today Weston was with us, playing, eating, dancing, and having fun. As Erin and I stood at his grave site this afternoon, we were amazed at the events of the past week. Life is so fragile and we never know how much time we [...]

New Header

Due to the negative feedback I received about my blog header, I decided to change it.
Several people, including my parents, did not like the photo of me citing that, to them, I looked “unnatural,” “tired” and “not like myself.” I think it was basically too “artsy” for most folks to accept.
I decided to put [...]

Joy Comes in the Morning

I woke up this morning thinking about Weston. My morning routine was always to get up with Weston and occupy him while Erin got a little sleep. We would often go to his room, close the door and I would let him literally ransack his drawers, toys, closets, and anything else he cared [...]

Our hope

Well today was difficult. Not that every other day this week was not. Erin and I just miss Weston so much that it’s hard to think straight sometimes. They only thing that we are absolutely clear on is that our God and Savior created Weston for a purpose. We know what [...]

Weston Luke

My baby boy tragically passed away Tuesday night. Erin and I desperately need your prayers at this time.
We are not taking any calls at this time, but will be reading blog postings, facebook postings, and e-mails.
Funeral arrangements are being made through the Mercer-Adams funeral home in Bethany, Oklahoma. The funeral home address is [...]

Uncle Matt

Weston got to meet his Uncle Matt this week.  Matt lives in northern California and had never had a chance to meet his new nephew.  They hit it off since Matt wears a hat (one of Weston’s favorite accessories) and he skateboards (one of Weston’s new loves.)

GOOU

It’s football season, and so far OU has won all their games.  Granted, they have not played any of the difficult teams yet, but I suspect it will be a great year for OU.  GOOU!  Woo-hoo!
