Late last spring Weston and I went shopping. He had kept his parents
up for days with one of his I’m-too-busy-to-sleep marathons, so I
took him out to give them a chance to rest. We were on a mission!
He needed a hat to wear on their up-coming trip to the beach! We
tried on every baby beach hat at the mall, a project he greatly
enjoyed, being a lifelong hat fanatic! Finally, we found the perfect
hat! It’s the fishing hat you have seen in many of the photos of
Weston (see photo above). He wore it often and well and had many adventures in his
“hack” (hat)! After shopping we stopped at Arby’s for dinner. I was
a little out of practice at pushing a baby in a high chair while
balancing food and drinks on a tray. He ate applesauce and curly fries. His mother probably would not
have approved of the fries, but hey, what happens with Granna stays
with Granna!

Love this hat! Everytime I see it in a picture I notice it. Good choice!
