Little Big Man

My little-big man last summer.  He is sitting on Uncle Doug’s motorcycle.

Firsts

As the summer days move on, Erin and I become more and more aware of how much our lives have changed. We have seen many aspects of healing take place after the loss of our son Weston. We have experienced several small “victories” in coping with his death and absence. At the [...]

Many faces

Weston had some signature faces he made.  This was one of them.  I am still very grateful that I have so many photos capturing the many faces of my sweet little Weston.

Home Playtime

This is Weston and his “bus” -  we took him around the house several rounds.  He never got tired of it and wanted to keep going and going.  He liked his “friends” with him in the bus, and if we would pass a toy on our route – he would often require that we stop [...]

Max & the hat

Weston really wanted the hat – he loved hats!  He did not think it belonged on Max.  We sure are missing him  this week.  Wish he were here with us today.

The Journey

We’re having some very tough days.  The nightmare is not over for us, though we work hard to continue to move along in our lives as best we can.     All I can ask is that you might say a prayer for us today.

Missing Baby

Here is our sweet boy at his Kindermusik class.  He is holding two “egg” shakers.  He is wearing his Kindermusik t shirt.  He loved going to class with Mommy, and sometimes Nanny or Daddy.  We miss him tremendously.

Perfect Boy

Here’s Weston in his Max t-shirt, his hat, and his new Nike shoes.  He is such a big boy in this picture.  This was taken in Norman not long before we lost him.  What a perfect healthy boy.
