A Very Merry Pops!

Tonight Erin and I attended a performance of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra’s production of A Very Merry Pops!  It featured the current Broadway star of Mamma Mia, Judy McClane.  The show included several Christmas songs with dancing Santa’s and lots of great Choral music.  The lighting design was excellent, and of course the orchestra [...]

Cherish Our Time

What would have been Weston’s 3rd birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks.  Erin and I continue to miss him tremendously as he was the light of our lives.  We have had some difficulty days lately, and the loss of our son continues to develop new feelings and phases we encounter with each [...]

Snow!

The holidays are upon us, and you may notice that my blog is snowing.  No, there is nothing wrong with your screen, my blog is snowing.  Now isn’t that festive?

Erin and I have now been married for 12 years.  Today marks our anniversary.

gifts

Today I found myself looking through a Target sales ad thinking about what we would have gotten Weston for his birthday and for Christmas this year.  He would have been 3 years old.  The holidays and this time of year are difficult for us.  We miss our baby boy each and every day.

I’m old-school

I went to see Amelia Earhart with my Mom and Dad and Erin.  I don’t see movies in the theatre very often anymore, but it was nice to see one on the big screen.  The scenery in the movie was beautiful.  I found the acting to be really great, although I am reminded of why [...]
